Prairie’s Edge is a place for people to create resilient food and resource systems integrated within our unique local environment and communities.

A place where people come together to learn, practice, and teach the skills and technology needed to adapt to the challenges current and future generations face.

Through our workshops and events we demonstrate how to heal our relationship with the land and each other as we create highly productive food, forest, and living systems woven into the unique landscapes of the Humboldt Bay Area.

Relationships with the Earth and each other are what we hold most valuable.

Contact us if you are interested in coming to visit the land or have more questions on how to get involved.

We are all in this together.

We envision a network of people creating thriving and resilient communities.

Prairie's Edge has found itself at a pivotal time to push this project to the next level and is excited to open the dream up to the community and find ways others can thrive with this project too.

All of us dedicated to the success of this project know we are on the right path due to the sheer volume of support we have had from the community and volunteers for the past four years.

Testimonials

“I wanted to thank you and your wife for a wonderful xmas tree experience. The young woman with me is in recovery from 20 years of drug addiction. She has been living with me for the past 7 months, learning how to be a healthy person, working in my plant business. She has never picked out a xmas tree before, let alone cut one down, so she is still telling everyone about it.” — Laura Frost

“I felt like I was breathing in life!” —Peter

“My daughter and I really enjoyed our visit to your ranch/farm. We both would be interested in becoming more involved in the development of your land.“ — Nanette
